(Male perspective) “We are here, Juliet,” I said. “I know. I know where I live,” she said as she laughed. Her azure eyes sparkled. She is so perfect, I thought, but she is my best friend. I trust her more than anyone. Telling her I love her, would change everything. She is a crucial part of my world. I want to tell her but I turned around again. I felt a pang as I heard her scream behind me, but she was not there. But how could she just disappear, I thought. A note on the mat saying, “She is mine now.”

It has been 5 days since my plane crashed on an undocumented island. My camera and I were the only to items survive this crash. My parents’ face haunted me every night because now they are dead. Walking despondent on the island, I find myself feeling happy when I admire the many interesting animals. Such as knee-high elephants, 3 feet butterflies, and building size lizards. I have also learned to impel car-sized bees in the air. My favorite animals are the foot long ladybugs. When the wind is in my hair and blowing on my face, I want it to never stop.

The Good Samaritan

September 29, 2018, at the railroad crossing at West Little York and Victory Dr., in northwest Houston, a man leaped out of his car to help a male double amputee, in a wheelchair. The double amputee was on the rails as a train was approaching quickly in the distance. The man, Stacey Jones, said, “You don’t want to see someone die in front of your face… I just didn’t want him to get hurt.” Stacey went under the crossing arms and grasped the wheelchair to take him out of jeopardy. When the train passed, Stacey pulled the man into his car and put his wheelchair in his trunk. Stacey had also asked the man for his identity and where he lives so that he can drive him there. The man kindly declined and said he only wanted to go to the nearby Food Town. This man’s identity is still an enigma. In conclusion, Stacey’s good Samaritan act saved this unidentified man’s life.

My Song

Many people have a song that they categorize as “My Song”. A song that encompasses me is “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran because I love fairytales, slow romantic songs, and they are still in love through all the years.

I love this song because it is about a perfect fairytale. It is about a boy and a girl that fell in love when they were kids and he still loves her. I know this because two of the lyrics say, “I found the love for me” and “‘Cause we just kids when we fell in love.” Another reason I adore this song is that I love slow romantic songs. In my opinion, the songs sound as if they care about and mean what they say in the lyrics. I know this because it states, “I hope that someday I’ll share her home.” The last reason is because they still in love even through all the years. I also know this because it says, “‘Cause we were kids when we fell in love,” and, “She shares the same dreams … to carry more than my secrets, to carry love, to carry children of our own.

As a result, the song I categorize as “My Song” is “Perfect” by The Ed Sheeran because it is about a perfect fairytale but in reality, it is a slow romantic song, and they feel in love when they were kids and they still are in love.

“Mom, will we ever get to go the restaurant?” Emily said with a sigh. Her father, mother, and herself had wanted to go to the new restaurant for quite some time. However, her family had been very busy in the past month. There they were, standing right outside it. “One day we will.”Mom said with hope in her voice. She and Dad had gone to one before I was born in London. Dad said the food was very delectable and lavishing. It was their first time then, so the restaurant gave them a garland. “One day we will,” she repeated.

It was a perfect day at the zoo for Ariana and I, the fresh breeze and the bright sunlight had a cheerful effect everywhere. Then the plates turned, and a massive storm appeared. The winds and rain broke bars of the animal cages. Animals were everywhere and people were running towards chaotic exits. However, as we got out from hiding, there were no humans but animals. One animal, a tiger in the bushes, was eyeing us closely as if we were prey. Knowing we were heading to the exit, it ran there and the tiger was blocking our escape.

100 Word Challenge – Week 12

From my window, a huge ocean of long grass could be admired. It was a peaceful and sunny day until a cold wind brought a devastating storm. The colossal blue sky was quickly covered by a gigantic black cloud containing energetic lighting and white hail, the size of golf balls. My family hurried to get ready, and we packed ourselves a sandwich and a battery for our flashlight. After a while of being in the storm cellar, the winds declined. Everyone came out to see our dilapidated house, inherited by our family, and knew we would need to renovate now.

I walked proudly wearing my fashionable, new glasses from the antique store. However, when I got on the main street, I saw white, transparent figures moving as if walking, Ghosts! I thought to myself. Unlike me, no one seemed to notice or know they were there. Then the thought came to me, my glasses! and when I took them off, all I saw were regular people. Noticing it was just my glasses, I rushed to the antique store. When I asked the woman at the counter about the glasses, she said: “The glasses came from a cursed rose gold chest”.
